Music:Leeds Launchpad Conference 2020

Cancelled last minute due to Covid-19

It was with great sadness that due to the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) we had to cancel the Launchpad Conference in 2020.

We felt that it was important to consider the safety of speakers, attendees and other members of the public, and that organising such a large event that brings together many people from across the UK was not ideal in the circumstances.

We are working hard behind the scenes to bring you a new programme for a 2022 version of the Launchpad Conference. Follow us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to stay up to date and receive updates.

Below you will find an overview of the panels, speakers and workshops that were originally planned for 2020 in the hopes it’ll give you a flavour of what is to come next.

ABOUT LAUNCHPAD CONFERENCE:

For the last 10 years, we have been involved in delivering the Unconference, the biggest free music industry event in the North.

In 2020, we were hoping to change things - rebranding the event and moving it forward as Music:Leeds Launchpad Conference. Due to the cancellation of the event in 2020, we are looking at pushing this rebrand in 2022.

If you are involved in music at any level and hope to gain a better understanding of the music industries – as an artist, producer, manager, promoter, enthusiast or otherwise, you can come to our event to find out more from leading experts and professionals.

Expect the same format, more topics about the music industry, more personal and career development and more workshops - building on the success Music:Leeds Launchpad has had supporting artists with opportunities at Inner City Electronic, Black Music Festival, Live At Leeds, Jazz Leeds, Pub In The Park and more.
